And Life Goes On . . .

We just got home from Grey's memorial. I'll talk about that later after I've had time to let it all sink it.

We brought Grey home, in his little blue urn. It was such a relief to have him back with us. Riley looked at it and we told him what it was. He was so excited. "Grey's home! I'm still a big brother!" As I type this, he has already asked to take him off the mantle so that he could be with them as they play.

And life goes on . . .

Nicole, I know Grey's memorial was emotional, beyond anything I can imagine. How wondeful you have him home with you in his little blue urn.
I've been gone all weekend, but you and your family are always in my prayers. Take care

Nicole,

I stumbled upon your blog by accident a few days ago, but was so moved by Grey's story that I can't stop thinking about it.

If possible, I would like to help. I can help you start a letter -writing campaign or help lobby legislators in Austin. I live in San Antonio, so it would not be any trouble at all.

I realize that you need time to heal- even though right now it must seem like that's not even possible. So, you can contact me after a week, a month or a year. I'll still be willing to help.

My heart simply breaks for what you and your family have been through.

Thanks for listening.
